The sale of a commercial vehicle is the beginning of the obligation, not the conclusion of it.

At Paramount, aftersales capability is not a support function — it is the core of the value proposition. Every vehicle we sell enters a service and parts ecosystem that is designed to maximise its operational life, minimise unplanned downtime and protect the investment our clients have made.

We operate across our 3S hub in Lubumbashi. The result is a workshop and parts capability that is accountable, verifiable and consistent.

Certified Workshop Operations

Our workshop technicians are UD Trucks-trained. Certification is not a credential stored in a personnel file — it is verified annually against the Isuzu and UD Trucks global technician certification frameworks. There is operational in our Lubumbashi 3S hub, providing access to factory-level diagnostic capability for the full Isuzu model range.

Workshop capacity in Lubumbashi: 6+ bays, heavy-duty lift capability, scheduled PM lanes and a rapid-response unscheduled maintenance facility. Job card-to-close target: 4 hours for standard services. Escalations to Parts Manager same day.

Genuine Parts — Integrity Without Exception

Paramount is the only source of authenticated UD Trucks parts in the DRC. Our parts supply chain is anchored in South Africa, with an average lead time of 3–5 days for standard orders. Our Lubumbashi warehouse holds 500+ active SKUs across fast, medium and slow-moving classifications, with automated minimum/maximum reorder protocols.

Mobile Service Units (MSU) — The Workshop Deployed

For mining operations — and for logistics operators on the Matadi–Lubumbashi freight corridor — workshop access in a fixed city location is not always operationally viable. A fleet breakdown 80 kilometres from the nearest bay costs the operator not only repair time but lost production time, penalty exposure and schedule disruption.

Paramount’s MSU programme deploys certified technicians, pre-pulled parts kits and diagnostic equipment directly to client sites. Bronze, Silver and Gold contract tiers provide graduated service commitments — from scheduled preventive maintenance visits to 24/7 emergency response with a 90-minute deployment target from the Copperbelt base.

Fleet Service Contracts

Unplanned maintenance is the enemy of fleet profitability. Paramount’s fleet service contract programme converts reactive maintenance into planned, budgeted, managed operations — with service intervals aligned to UD Trucks specifications, warranty conditions maintained, and fleet performance tracked through our CRM platform.

Contracts are structured by fleet size, operating environment and vehicle model line. Mining fleet operators receive a dedicated account manager, quarterly fleet performance reviews and priority parts allocation.
